At Hugs-n-Hearts our curriculum is designed to support children at all developmental levels, and to inspire a life-long love for learning. From curious toddlers to independent pre-kindergarteners, our curriculum is tailored to the needs of each different age group. Hugs-n-Hearts uses center-wide weekly themes as the base for planning. Teachers use this theme to plan activities in Creative Art, Dramatic Play, STEM, Music & Movement, Gross and Fine Motor, Language & Literacy, and more. Our curriculum also provides opportunities for Social & Emotional growth, mastering Self-Help Skills, and gaining self-confidence through Problem Solving. We recognize that every child grows and learns at their own rate, and our curriculum allows teachers to adapt activities to nurture every child’s development.
Our Teachers Are Like Family
All full-time Preschool/Pre-K teachers at Hugs-n-Hearts hold either a Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education or a related field.
Teachers are certified in First Aid & CPR, management of communicable diseases, and child abuse recognition.
Our commitment to our teachers assures the longevity and consistency that are vital to
children's success. Our teachers have been here an average of 10+ years. Many of them have upwards of 17+ years teaching at Hugs-n-Hearts.
