Children are my passion and for as long as I can remember, I have always dreamt of having the opportunity to do what I love. My dream came true on April 22, 1994 and I opened the doors of Hugs-n-Hearts ELC. I have been the owner and on-site director for 30 years. Hugs-n-Hearts is privately owned and family operated. We were one of the very first businesses to open in the Polaris area. Teddy bears lined the hallways and smiling teachers waited in the doorways to welcome the first of over 4500 students to join our family. Hugs-n-Hearts was designed and built with the Polaris community in mind. We are a full-day, educational child care program designed for working parents.
I received my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and have over 35 years of administrative and teaching experience in the early child care field. My three children grew up at Hugs-n-Hearts and I'm so proud to now work alongside them every day. I love watching my children teaching others and seeing their growing passion for this field. Together we are shaping the future of Hugs-n-Hearts.
